Bonehenge

The history of Bonehenge is shrouded in mystery. Situated on a hill a few miles from AIBO-on-the-Wold the structure has facinated the locals for hundreds of years.

Built around 1300BC (Aibolithic Era), the bones are thought to have been mined and sculpted many miles away, and dragged by teams of AIBOs across the countryside.

The Aibone megaliths are stood on end creating a circle believed to have been used for the winter solcitice festival. The festival included rituals to encourage good weather the following year and to ensure a good harvest.

The most important of these rituals was the Rite of the Midday Bonepeeing. The High AIBO and AIBOess, wearing pink hooded robes would stand in the middle of the circle. As the sun reached the highest point in the sky they would raise their hind legs and do the necessary whilst the clan chanted "Ohh I feel it" to the sun god.
